Henry C. Eickelberg serves as an adjunct professor of law at Georgetown University Law Center and is the recipient of the 2015 Charles Fahy Distinguished Adjunct Professor of the Year award. As well as teaching, Prof. Eickelberg serves as the University's faculty adviser for the ERISA certificate program.

Most recently, Mr. Eickelberg served as a corporate officer for A Fortune 100 as its Vice President for Human Resources and Shared Services.  There he was responsible for the negotiations and transition of its M&A activities as these activities related to employee benefits and transition issues. He also oversaw the benefit design, administration and delivery of its numerous benefit pension plans, 401(k) plans, and health and welfare programs (including vendor selection and management, contract negotiations). He was akso in-charge of its internal shared services organization that processes over $10 billion dollars in internal costs related to payroll, travel expense reimbursements, benefits accounting, payroll tax and compliance.

Mr. Eickelberg is the employer co-chair of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers National Pension Fund and National 401(k) Funds and is on the executive committee and a Fellow of the American College of Employee Benefits Council. He is a member of the American Benefits Counsel (ABC) and also serves on the Board of Directors of the ERISA Industry Committee (ERIC). He has chaired the American Benefits Council's Legal Affairs committee and is currently on the executive committee for the American Benefits Council. Both ABC and ERIC are dedicated to a secure and financially sound retirement system. Mr. Eickelberg is a member of the Board of Directors of Deallawyers.com, which is a website dedicated to the lawyers in corporate mergers & acquisitions. He is also on the Bloomberg BNA Advisory board, which is a distinguished panel of ERISA and executive compensation professionals.

Mr. Eickelberg has testified before the United States Senate Finance Committee, the House Ways and Means Committee on Select Revenue Matters concerning pension security and funding and the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation on ERISA and labor relations matters.

Prior to joining General Dynamics, Mr. Eickelberg was a partner specializing in executive compensation, ERISA and M&A at Jenner & Block in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Eickelberg also spent nine years as a benefits consultant with William M. Mercer, Inc., a world-wide benefits consultancy. Mr. Eickelberg is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia and the States of Florida (inactive) and Illinois (inactive).
