Halie is a partner in KPMG’s Department of Professional Practice with over 17 years of combined experience in technical accounting, auditing, and reporting matters. She recently completed two years as a Practice Fellow at the Financial Accounting Standards Board, where she was the project lead on the Board’s goodwill and intangible assets projects and the inventory disclosure project. At KPMG, she focuses on current accounting issues, technical accounting consultations, and implementation of accounting and auditing standards. She also spent 12 years in KPMG’s audit practice, specializing in audits of industrial manufacturing and transportation companies, both public and private.

Halie earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Master of Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  She is also a licensed CPA in Virginia, New Jersey, Connecticut, and New York and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
