GuyLaine Charles advises market participants, including investment managers, asset managers, pension plans, financial institutions and corporations, on trading agreements and regulation of their derivatives transactions. She has experience negotiating a wide range of trading agreements including, prime brokerage, securities lending, repurchase, futures and options, clearing, as well as physical and financial over-the-counter derivative and commodities transactions documented under ISDA Master Agreements and other industry standard forms. GuyLaine also has extensive experience advising her clients on a range of regulatory matters, with a particular focus on the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. In addition to representing clients on trading and derivatives matters, GuyLaine also advises on lending arrangements and represents limited partners in private equity funds. GuyLaine is a member of the New York Bar and of the Law Society of Upper Canada (the Ontario Bar).
