Gretchen Lowe is the Principal Deputy Director/Chief Counsel of the Division of Enforcement at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.   Last year, Ms. Lowe served as Acting Director for Enforcement.   Ms. Lowe has been with the Commission since 1995, and was an Associate Director for over 11 years.  Ms. Lowe has overseen the investigation and prosecution of numerous cases, including most recently the LIBOR and FX Currency benchmark manipulation cases.  Prior to the CFTC, Ms. Lowe was at Piper & Marbury (now DLA Piper).  Ms. Lowe obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Rochester and her law degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law.
