Grace Harter is an international trade specialist with the Data Flows and Privacy Team at the U.S. International Trade Administration (ITA). Since beginning at the Department of Commerce in 2015, she has focused on privacy and trans-border data flow issues and is a member of the EU–U.S. Privacy Shield team. Harter graduated with an MA from Johns Hopkins University in May 2015 with concentrations in international economics and international development. Before studying for her MA, she served in the Peace Corps in Ukraine from 2010 until 2012.
