Gloria Dalton is an Assistant Director with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in its Office of International Affairs (OIA).  Ms. Dalton heads OIA’s supervisory cooperation group, which is dedicated to facilitating cooperation between the SEC and its foreign counterparts in the oversight of globally active entities.  Prior to becoming Assistant Director, Ms. Dalton served as counsel to the director in OIA focusing on information-sharing issues, including the development and negotiation of memoranda of understanding for supervisory cooperation. Before joining the SEC, Ms. Dalton, was a staff attorney at the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission.  Ms. Dalton has an undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech and a law degree from George Mason University.
