Work History

Prior to joining Amyris, Gary Loeb was Vice President, Intellectual Property at Genentech where he lead a group of approximately 30 attorneys and agents, including litigation, patent prosecution, corporate records and technology licensing. Prior to joining Genentech in January 2000, Gary practiced general intellectual property law in Los Angeles and San Francisco. He received his B.S and B.A. from Stanford University. He clerked in the Northern District of Texas after law school. He has been an adjunct professor at Univ. of San Francisco Law School since 2006.
