Work History: Gary Gattis, CEO, Spacetime Studios, wrote his first game on an Apple II+ in 1984. Gary graduated with a Sculpture/ Computer Science degree from the University of Texas in 1990. He got his vocational start in gaming when he co-founded Human Code, one of Austin’s first multi-media companies. Gary next went to work for Digital Anvil as Director of Development. In 2003 he joined Sony Online Entertainment to run Star Wars: Galaxies. He and his partners founded Spacetime Studios in October 2005. Gary served as Chairman of the Board for the Austin branch of the International Game Developer’s Association from 2008-2009. In April of 2010, Spacetime Studios released Pocket Legends, the world’s first 3D mobile MMO. The company now operates six live games and continues to expand their content and technology lead in the mobile multiplayer market.
