Francesca L. Miceli is an Assistant Attorney General with the Consumer Protection Division of Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey’s Office.  She investigates and prosecutes violations of the Massachusetts Consumer Protection Act and data breach notification laws and security regulations.  In connection with her work in data privacy and security, she is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) by the International Association of Privacy Professionals.

Previously, Ms. Miceli was counsel in the litigation department at Bingham McCutchen LLP, where she litigated a variety of commercial disputes featuring unfair trade practices, antitrust, contract, false advertising, and intellectual property claims.  She also defended federal and state level securities investigations into violations of financial regulations. 

Ms. Miceli holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston University, magna cum laude, with distinction, and a Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Cornell Law School.
