Esther Miriam Flesch areas of practice include General Corporate and Commercial, Compliance, Information Technology, Intellectual Property and Pharma law. She is the head of the Brazilian Compliance group. Ms. Flesch has significant experience in FCPA related projects, including internal investigations, cooperation with US colleagues for DOJ disclosures and dealing with crisis upon local management arrests and indictment. Ms. Flesch also has significant experience in the preventive practice related to the FCPA such as due diligence of third parties and implementation of compliance programs.

Esther Miriam Flesch was born in Sao Paulo/SP, Brazil in 1967. Graduated in 1988 from the Universidade de Sao Paulo Law School. Master of Laws degree in 1992 from the University of Michigan Law School, in Ann Arbor, U.S.A. Former research scholar in 1993 at the Max Planck Institute for foreign and international Copyright, Patent and Competition Law in Munich, Germany. Doctorate (Ph.D.) in 1996 from the Universidade de Sao Paulo Law School. Joined the firm in 1989 and became a partner in 1998. Registered at the Brazilian Bar Association in 1989, Sao Paulo Chapter.
