Erik-Jaap Molenaar is a Managing Director in Barclays Capital's Technology Mergers & Acquisitions group in New York. Erik-Jaap joined Lehman Brothers in 1999 as an Analyst in Lehman Brothers' Technology Mergers & Acquisitions group in New York and re-joined Lehman in 2003 after attending business school. He joined Barclays Capital in 2008 after Barclays Capital's acquisition of Lehman Brothers' North American investment banking operations.

Erik-Jaap has executed mergers & acquisitions as well as corporate finance transactions for clients across a wide range of technology sectors including software, IT services, communications equipment and hardware, including for large-cap technology companies such as Metavante, IBM, VMWare, EMC, Vertafore, Tele Atlas and Nuance Communications as well as mid-cap technology companies such as Linkage Technologies, Entrust, IONA, CSG Systems, Actimize, CVC, and Online Resources.

Prior to Lehman Brothers, Erik-Jaap worked as a strategy consultant at OC&C Strategy Consultants in The Netherlands. He received an M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the Delft University of Technology, and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
