Edward Spaeth is Vice President and Assistant General Counsel for LexisNexis, a division of Reed Elsevier Inc.  LexisNexis® is a leading global provider of content-enabled workflow solutions designed specifically for professionals in the legal, risk management, corporate, government, law enforcement, accounting, and academic markets.  Ed joined LexisNexis in November of 2002.  Ed has over ten years of experience in content licensing and acquisition, and publishing.  Ed’s current responsibilities include legal counsel and support across the full spectrum of legal and product development needs of the LexisNexis U.S. Legal & Professional market, with a focus on customers with more than 50 attorneys.  Prior to joining LexisNexis, Ed had over 12 years’ experience in private practice with concentrations in the areas of tax law, general business and corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, estate and business succession planning,  and business litigation.  Ed received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Northern Kentucky University, and an LL.M. in taxation from the University of Florida.  Ed received his B.A. in industrial relations from the University of Cincinnati.
