Doug Rosenbloom is an Assistant Attorney General in the Office of the Attorney General of the District of Columbia. A member of the Public Interest Division, Doug is a trial attorney representing the District and its agencies in complex civil litigation, including constitutional tort and class action cases. 

Doug began his legal career as a litigation associate at an AmLaw 100 law firm, where he focused on products liability and mass tort defense. A former elementary school teacher and Teach For America corps member, Doug established a solo practice in metro-Atlanta, specializing in child welfare, juvenile justice, and education law. In his private practice, Doug represented elected school officials, start-up charter schools, non-profit education reform organizations, and court-involved children and parents.

Doug is graduate of Emory University and Georgia State University College of Law, where he co-found the Child Advocacy Society and started a Street Law program in partnership with Atlanta Public Schools. Doug resides in Washington, D.C. with his wife, Samantha Cohen.
