Donna Wren serves as the Firm Wide Director of Project Management at Dechert. In this role, Ms. Wren leads the project management department in overseeing the firm’s global pricing process, matter management and education on law firm economics and profitability concerns. Ms. Wren communicates with the firm’s lawyers, marketing department and clients in response to RFPs, the management of matters and the establishment of pricing and alternative fee arrangements.

Ms. Wren started her career at a large regional law firm based in Philadelphia. While there, she worked in the corporate and bankruptcy departments before moving to GlaxoSmithKline as in-house counsel supporting the global business transactions team on complex research, development and licensing arrangements around the world. Ms. Wren most recently worked as in-house counsel at FMC Corporation, a global specialty chemicals company also headquartered in Philadelphia. In her role at FMC, she was the Division Counsel for the company’s Lithium Division and served on the division’s Leadership Team. She worked closely with the division on numerous initiatives and projects around the world, and oversaw outside counsel on various legal matters, including general commercial matters, regulatory issues, litigation and patent work. In addition, Ms. Wren served as the lead counsel for FMC’s Global Procurement Group and oversaw key procurement projects across all of FMC’s divisions.

After her years of experience as in-house counsel for two Fortune 500 companies, Ms. Wren is uniquely positioned to bring a keen understanding of the client perspective to her interactions with attorneys and clients.
