Donald Fawcett is a Managing Director in Lazard’s Global Industrials Group. 

Selected assignments include: Rock-Tenn Company’s merger with MeadWestvaco Corporation; Knauf’s acquisition of Guardian Insulation and Guardian Fiberglass; Domtar’s acquisition of INDAS; ArcelorMittal’s (together with Nippon Steel) acquisition of ThyssenKrupp Steel USA; advisor to special committee of CNH Global on its merger with Fiat Industrial; CEMEX’s comprehensive refinancing plans (2009 and 2013); CEMEX’s strategic agreement to outsource its global share services business to IBM; U.S. Concrete’s Chapter 11 reorganization; Jacuzzi Brands on its recapitalization; senior lenders of Masonite on its pre-negotiated bankruptcy; the sale of Jacuzzi Brands to Apollo; Matsushita Electric Works’ acquisition of Universal Lighting Technologies; The Stanley Works’ acquisition of Générale de Protection; advisor to the special committee of Sauer Danfoss on Danfoss A/S acquisition of its 24% stake in the company; the sale of Denison International to Parker Hannifin;  and Schneider Electric’s acquisitions of Power Measurement and American Power Conversion.

Prior to joining Lazard in 1997, Mr. Fawcett spent three years at The NTC Group and two years in the corporate finance department of Smith Barney in New York.
