Dia Montecillo is a staff attorney at the San Francisco office of Bay Area Legal Aid.  She has been representing low-income domestic violence survivors in their immigration, family law, and restraining order cases since 2011.  Prior to joining Bay Legal, Ms. Montecillo worked as a public defender for 3 years in Pennsylvania.  She received her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley.  Ms. Montecillo also speaks Spanish and Cebuano.
