Devjani is a Shareholder in Littler’s New York office, where she advises management regarding all aspects of the employer-employee relationship.  Prior to joining Littler, Devjani was primary in-house employment counsel for Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a global biopharmaceutical company.

Devjani has extensive experience in negotiating executive and other employment contracts; managing flexible work, leave and accommodation requests; developing global benefits plans, employment policies and training programs; evaluating employee performance metrics and disciplinary processes; performing transactional due diligence and supporting post-acquisition workforce integration; planning and implementing business restructuring and reductions in force; implementing restrictive covenants; monitoring contingent workforce classification and usage; overseeing wage and hour, pay equity and OFCCP compliance programs and initiatives; addressing discrimination, harassment and retaliation complaints; conducting internal investigations and compliance assessments; and defending employment litigation. 

Devjani received her B.A. in Political Science with distinction from Yale University and her J.D. from Columbia University School of Law, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.  She is a regular presenter on employment law topics at the Practising Law Institute, the American Bar Association and in other forums.
