DAVID Z. SEIDE is a partner in the Washington, DC office of Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP. He conducts internal investigations on behalf of companies, and represents companies and individuals who are subjects of government investigations, particularly fraud investigations, and in civil litigation. In recent years, he has represented a broad array of financial services companies, including mutual funds, hedge funds, broker-dealers, accounting firms and publicly-traded companies, as well as their officers and directors, before the Securities Exchange Commission, the Department of Justice, and state and local regulatory agencies. He also and advises on compliance programs involving the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, as well as and federal and state securities laws.  

Mr. Seide served as a federal prosecutor in Los Angeles, where he specialized in securities fraud prosecutions. He is a co-chair of the Securities Fraud Subcommittee of the American Bar Association's White Collar Crime Committee, and is a co-author of a forthcoming ABA book on Internal Investigations, Witness Warnings and the Attorney-Client Privilege.
