David Sapin

PwC

New York, NY, USA

David has more than 24 years of experience helping financial services firms understand and manage the risks to their business created by regulation and regulatory change.

For the past several years, David has spent much of his time advising clients on the changes to their business and operations required by the Dodd-Frank Act and global regulatory reform. In particular, he has focused on how new regulatory requirements (e.g., derivatives reform, Volcker Rule) are impacting the global derivatives and capital markets activities of banks. He oversees all of PwC's Volcker engagements.

David also regularly counsels his clients on their relationships with regulators, including: communicating with regulatory agencies, managing the regulatory examination process and responding to regulatory criticism. David is a regular author and contributor to our Financial Services Regulatory Brief series and is often called upon to comment on regulatory developments impacting the industry.
