DAVID H. RESNICOFF

Dave is Associate General Counsel and Vice-President, Ethics & Compliance, at Baxter International in Deerfield, Illinois. Dave leads Baxter's Ethics & Compliance Team to ensure that Baxter has an effective global compliance program and helps manage Baxter's response to government investigations.  

From 2003-2006, Dave was Associate Compliance Counsel, and Director and Counsel for Investigations at Tyco International, where he helped build Tyco's new ethics and compliance program, managed the company's internal compliance investigations, and assisted the company's response to government investigations. 

 Dave came to Tyco in 2003 from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, where he prosecuted healthcare fraud, other white-collar crime and violent crime from 1995-2003. In 1999 he received the Director's Award for Superior Performance from the U.S. Department of Justice for his work on healthcare fraud prosecution.

 From 1990-1995 Dave practiced law at Covington & Burling, where he litigated federal matters, performed internal investigations, and served a six-month rotation at Neighborhood Legal Services. He graduated cum laude from Boston College Law School, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the International and Comparative Law Review, holds a Master of Arts in International Affairs with distinction from The Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies, and received his B.A. cum laude from Colby College.
