David Fredrickson

David Fredrickson is a KPMG audit partner in the San Diego office, and has been with the firm for over 16 years. He’s responsible for delivering audit and accounting services to both middle-market and fortune 500 companies across various industries in San Diego.

David’s extensive background has allowed him to provide services for companies in the following industries, technology, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, semiconductor equipment, manufacturing, retail, restaurant, government contracting, and services. David has served KPMG nationally as a national instructor and as a member of the Training and Methodology Team. He has also served the San Diego office as the leader of the middle market practice, a staff mentor, the local office training coordinator and a supplemental reviewer on public engagements related to the audit of internal controls over financial reporting under PCAOB Auditing Standards.

David is also active in several civic and charitable organizations, including serving on the board of directors of San Diego Sport Innovators, the San Diego Hall of Champions and Sports Commission, The John Brockington Foundation, the Twin Trails Education Foundation and on the board of trustees of New Life Presbyterian Church of La Mesa. He is also the KPMG sponsoring partner of the San Diego Chapter of Financial Executives International and has twice received the San Diego office Chairman’s Award for Excellence in Volunteerism.

David received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University, and is a California Certified Public Accountant.
