David B. Hennes

David B. Hennes is a litigation partner resident in Fried Frank's New York office. He joined the Firm in 1996, became a partner in 2003 and serves as one of the Firm's two hiring partners.

Mr. Hennes has litigated a broad array of corporate disputes, with an emphasis on complex corporate litigation, securities cases, corporatecontrol disputes, white-collar crime, and enforcement litigation. He frequently handles complicated federal securities class actions and state law derivative actions, and advises Boards on their responses to these litigations. Mr. Hennes has handled numerous matters arising out of the constriction of the credit markets, including advising on issues of material adverse effect and the enforceability of various merger and credit agreements.

He has represented corporate and individual clients in all aspects of these matters at both the trial and appellate levels in federal and state courts throughout the United States. Mr. Hennes' clients have included Humana Inc.; Deutsche Bank Securities, Inc.; CA, Inc.; Burlington Resources, Inc.; Yankee Candle Company, Inc.; Goldman, Sachs & Co.; Utilicorp United, Inc.; Allied Waste Industries, Inc.; Kindred Healthcare, Inc.; and Perrigo Company; among others.
