Courtney Darts is Director of Education at Pro Bono Partnership, an organization that provides business and transactional legal services to nonprofits serving the disadvantaged or enhancing the quality of life in neighborhoods in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.   She regularly trains nonprofit board members, executive staff, and attorneys on various legal issues relevant to the nonprofit sector.  She also provides direct legal services to nonprofit organizations in New York and Connecticut, focusing on nonprofit, tax-exempt, and corporate governance matters.

Prior to becoming Director of Education, Courtney was a staff attorney at Pro Bono Partnership for several years.  She was previously in private practice with the law firm Kelley Drye & Warren LLP. Courtney is a graduate of Fairfield University and Fordham University School of Law and is admitted to the bar in Connecticut and New York.  She is also a member of the New York City Bar Association’s Committee on Nonprofit Organizations and serves on the board of directors of Search for Change in Valhalla, New York.
