Constance serves on the boards of several digital currency companies and advises startups and traditional financial institutions in global financial regulations, licensing and compliance, government advocacy, corporate restructuring, and strategic market development for digital currencies and distributed cryptographic ledger technologies (www.sevenadvisory.com). One of the founders and Board Directors of DATA (www.datauthority.org), the self-regulatory organization for digital currency firms comprised of over 40 companies worldwide, Constance spearheads sound public policy and the development of best practices for these emerging technologies. Prior to these roles, Constance served as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Kraken (www.kraken.com), where she helped transform a software development startup into a globally respected financial institution. Constance is a member of the California State Bar, holds a J.D. from UC Berkeley School of Law, and undergraduate degrees from Brown University and University of Cambridge.

She formerly practiced at Kirkland & Ellis, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, the Samuelson Law, Technology & Public Policy Clinic, the Electronic Frontier Foundation and Perkins Coie, focusing on internet law, IP law, privacy, data security, consumer protection and constitutional rights.
