Work History:

Colin Owyang serves as the Deputy Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.  Colin was appointed by Attorney General Maura Healey in 2015 to provide executive oversight of the Criminal Bureau, Public Protection Bureau and related policy and strategic initiatives.  Colin previously served as Senior Vice President and U.S. General Counsel at National Grid, an Assistant U.S. Attorney in Boston, MA, a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in Washington, DC, a Trial Attorney in the Environmental Crimes Section of the U.S. Department of Justice, a judicial clerk to three U.S. District Judges in Detroit, MI and Boston, MA and as an associate at the Boston law firm of Foley Hoag.
