Christopher Rosina currently serves as Group Privacy & Security Counsel for Micro Focus International, where he leads the company's privacy team.  In this role, Chris has global responsibility for providing privacy and data protection advice across Micro Focus's expansive range of technology products and services, including its extensive Information Management and Governance group, which provides software to many leading financial institutions.  His practice covers all aspects of privacy and cyber security law and compliance, including leading the company's GDPR compliance program. 
 

Chris joined Micro Focus from Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where he served as the Worldwide Privacy & Security Counsel for HPE's software business unit before it merged with Micro Focus.  Before moving to the technology sector, Chris was an intellectual property attorney, serving as Associate General Counsel for Intellectual Property at the Jones Companies, a Mississippi-based energy logistics company, an Intellectual Property Associate at Kaye Scholer LLP. 
 

Chris received his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he was a Senior Editor on the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Business Law.  Prior to his legal studies, Chris was an accomplished classical musician, performing with orchestras around the world and earning a M.Mus. in Music History from Temple University and a B.Mus. in Music Performance and Composition from the Manhattan School of Music.
