Christopher B. Mead

After graduating from Yale Law School in 1985, Chris clerked for U.S. District Judge Joseph H. Young, worked at Williams & Connolly, and served as an AUSA for the District of Maryland from 1989-94, where he was lead counsel in the investigations and prosecutions of numerous pharmaceutical companies and executives. He was awarded the FDA Commissioner's Special Citation for Prosecutions of Application and Manufacturing Fraud. Since co-founding London & Mead in 1994, Chris has extensive experience in complex civil litigation and white collar criminal defense, including health care/pharma, patent and IP litigation, securities fraud, FCPA investigations, public corruption/election law investigations, congressional committee investigations, and environmental crimes investigations. He represents defendants and whistleblowers in False Claims Act cases. His whistleblower clients have brought cases that assisted the Department of Justice in recovering over $600 million in settlements. He has successfully tried dozens of cases to verdict, and has been named as a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers.

With his wife Lauren, Chris founded Scotland Storm Community Development, Inc., which for three years has offered free after school and summer academic and sports programs to underserved kids in the historic Scotland Community in Potomac, Maryland. Scotlandstorm.org.
