Charlotte Chyr is Special Counsel with the IRS Office of Associate Chief Counsel (Passthroughs & Special Industries).  She has worked with the tax group of Morgan Lewis & Bockius, LLP and PwC’s Washington National Tax Practice, focusing on partnership taxation.  While she has been a Washingtonian for over 20 years, she still considers herself a California native. Ms. Chyr served as Tax Counsel with the California Franchise Tax Court and Deputy Attorney General with the State of Hawaii Tax Division.  Ms. Chyr also clerked with the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco, California.  She earned an LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center, a J.D. from McGeorge School of Law, and graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and Business & Administration from the University of California, Los Angeles.
