Charles Michael Post, Managing Counsel and Director, is a Financial Technology, OTC Derivatives and Fixed Income attorney for BNY Mellon's Investment Services and Markets businesses. Charles is the legal lead of one of the firm's largest and most complex financial  technology projects, the development of an enterprise artificial intelligent legal agreement repository. He advises the firm (including its legal department) and trading businesses on leveraging technology, including Contract Analytics, Smart Contracts and Smart Forms, and Contract Life-Cycle Management, for enhancing their end-to-end business-as-usual processes as well as complying with new regulations (e.g. QFCs, OTC and Fixed Income rules). Previously, Charles advised the firm's Global Markets (foreign exchange and derivatives), Capital Markets (securities and fixed income), and Corporate Treasury businesses on their trading and services. He serves as a SIMFA Legal and Compliance Future Leader. Charles has spoken on the topic of artificial intelligence in the corporate legal practice at numerous events and seminars. He is a New York Law School graduate, class of 2010 and an undergraduate of Binghamton University, class of 2007.
