Charles C.S. Park is the Chief Compliance Officer for all of BlackRock's US registered investment companies and investment advisers, including the US-domiciled retail mutual and closed-end funds. Prior to joining BlackRock in 2009, Mr. Park was Principal & Chief Compliance Officer - US Funds at Barclays Global Investors, where he oversaw compliance for all US domiciled registered funds, including the iShares ETFs. From 1995 to 2006, Mr. Park was at American Century Investments, where he spent eleven years as Corporate Counsel, Assistant General Counsel, Associate General Counsel and, finally, the firm's Chief Compliance Officer. Mr. Park began his career as an investment advisory and investment company attorney in private practice.

Mr. Park earned a BA degree in Economics and a JD from University of Michigan in 1989 and 1992, respectively.
