Ceinwen Rees

Ceinwen Rees is an associate in the firm’s tax department and is based in the London office. She is a general corporate and transactional tax practitioner with experience advising a wide range of clients, including multi-national groups, private equity funds and financial institutions. Her practice covers advising on transaction structuring and other tax aspects of public and private mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures; private equity fund formation and operation; corporate finance transactions; tax consultancy, including group reorganisations, transfer pricing and VAT; and tax enquiries and disputes with HMRC.

Mrs. Rees’ recent published articles include “LMA facility agreements: negotiating the norms”, Tax Journal (February, 2014).
 
Mrs. Rees joined Debevoise in 2013. She graduated in 2004 with an M.A. in law from Downing College, Cambridge; she obtained her LPC from BPP Law School, London in 2007. Mrs. Rees also holds a GDip in finance from the London School of Economics (2008).

Mrs. Rees was admitted to practise as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2009.
