 Caroline K. Cheng

Ms. Cheng is a Management Principal and Associate General Counsel in the Office of General Counsel at Deloitte LLP. She is responsible for litigation and regulatory matters including representing both the firm and individuals in investigations conducted by the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board as well as in connection with civil litigation involving audit malpractice claims. She also counsels senior firm management on a wide range of legal, regulatory and risk issues. Before joining Deloitte in 2004, Ms. Cheng was Litigation Counsel in the Legal Group at Arthur Andersen LLP and was previously a Litigation Associate in the Chicago office of Jenner & Block.

Ms. Cheng received her BA from Columbia College and her JD from Columbia Law School where she was a member of the Moot Court Executive Board and the Director of the Harlan Fiske Stone Honor Moot Court Competition. She was also a winner of the Thomas E. Dewey Prize for Best Brief in the Harlan Fiske Stone Honor Moot Court Competition. She is currently a Co-Chair of the ABA Section of Litigation’s Committee on Professional Liability Litigation, a member of the ABA Section of Litigation’s Diversity Committee and an ABA Presidential Appointee to the National Conference of Lawyers and Certified Public Accountants.
