Hunter Wiggins is the Deputy Enforcement Director for Policy and Strategy at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. He and his staff are responsible for setting and managing the Bureau's enforcement strategic priorities and for outreach to government partners, the non-profit community, and industry. Before joining the Bureau, Hunter was Division Counsel at Abbott Laboratories focused on FCPA compliance, anti-counterfeiting, and internal investigations. He has also been a partner in the international law firm now known as Dentons specializing in government investigations, and served as Deputy Assistant Director in the Enforcement Division of the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington DC, where he specialized in accounting fraud investigations and he was a member of the Commission’s Financial Fraud and Mutual Fund Market Timing Task Forces. Hunter splits his time between the Bureau's Chicago and DC offices.
