Brian J. Yurko

Brian is an audit partner in KPMG's New York Information, Communication & Entertainment (ICE) practice with more than 17 years of experience.

Brian brings the unique experience of having worked for a portion of his career outside of KPMG in the media and entertainment industry where he served within CBS Corporation's Controllers group, as well as serving as the VP and Controller of the CBS Internet Group, Viacom Interactive Ventures and Viacom Outdoor, prior to returning to KPMG in 2002.

Brian's clients have been subject to the accounting and reporting rules and regulations of the SEC, including SOX 404. He has assisted clients in accounting matters, securities offerings and has provided clients with due diligence assistance. His clients include companies that require extensive coordination with significant operations across the United States and across the Globe.

His client base include such companies as Moody's Corporation, Sirius XM Radio Inc., the National Football League, Bertelsmann, Inc., Bowne & Company, Inc, CA Inc., Celenese Corporation, First Brands Locker, Inc., Foot Locker, Inc., John Wiley and Sons, NBC Universal, Inc., PepsiCo, Inc. Springer Verlag and Empire City at Yonkers Raceway.

His Professional associations include memberships to the New York, New Jersey, Nevada and Washington D.C. State Societies of Certified Public Accountants as well as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  Brian also is a member of the New York State Society of CPAs Printing and Publishing Committee.

Brian is a graduate of Pace University and holds a BBA degree. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
