Brian L. Dimmick is the Director of Litigation at the American Diabetes Association.  In this position, he oversees the Association’s advocacy-related litigation efforts and provides assistance to private and government attorneys working to protect the rights of people with diabetes and to end discrimination in employment, education, correctional institutions and other areas.  He was a leader in the ADA’s litigation efforts to ensure that children with diabetes have access to insulin and other diabetes care services at school, which culminated in a significant state Supreme Court decision in 2013.  Prior to joining ADA as a staff attorney in 2004, he was a Skadden Fellow and attorney with Disability Rights Advocates, where he worked on high-impact litigation.  He is a graduate of Wake Forest University and Stanford Law School.
