Brian Miner is a corporate partner resident in Fried Frank's Washington, DC office.  He joined the Firm in 2016.

Mr. Miner concentrates his practice in private equity transactions and cross-border mergers and acquisitions advising public and private companies and private equity firms.  He has significant experience across a broad range of sectors including asset management, life sciences, infrastructure, energy and manufacturing.  In particular, his private equity experience includes advising investment management clients on acquisitions and dispositions of interests in private equity fund managers.  Mr. Miner represents a variety of leading clients including Goldman Sachs, AEA Investors, LLR Partners, Lovell Minnick Partners, Ameriprise Financial and American Water Works Company.

Mr. Miner is a faculty member of the Practising Law Institute (PLI) where he has served as the chair and regular panelist for the seminar “Acquiring or Selling the Privately Held Company” since 2012.  He has been previously recognized as a leading private equity lawyer by The Legal 500, described as a “very strong tactician.” Prior to Fried Frank, Mr. Miner was a partner and practice group leader at a large global law firm and his prior experience also includes working as a tax advisor at KPMG.
