Bradley Reed is a corporate partner in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Bradley represents private equity sponsors and other clients in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, and counsels clients on a range of general corporate and securities law matters, including Exchange Act periodic reporting and disclosure issues, corporate governance best practices, Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance, Section 16 reporting, fiduciary duties and stock exchange listing requirements. He also represents issuers and sponsors in the United States and abroad with respect to initial public offerings, secondary equity offerings, high yield and investment grade debt offerings, convertible securities offerings and tender and exchange offers.

Acquisition by Thoma Bravo of Riverbed Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: RVBD), a leader in application performance infrastructure, for approximately $3.5 billion (2015).

Acquisition by Thoma Bravo of Compuware Corporation (NASDAQ: CPWR), a leading provider of software for application performance management and mainframe productivity and performance, for approximately $2.4 billion (2014).

Acquisition by Thoma Bravo of Global Healthcare Exchange, LLC, a leading provider of supply chain and inventory software solutions to the healthcare industry (2014).

Sale of Entrust, Inc., a provider or security and encryption software for enterprises and governments, by Thoma Bravo (2013).
