Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018: Examining the Many Health Care Provisions of a Law That Was Not Supposed to Be About Health Care
[Total RunTime: 01:04:35]

The recently-passed Bipartisan Budget Act included a handful of expected healthcare provisions, such as the so-called Medicare Extenders that enable continued payments to providers for particular services. The new law also contains a collection of interesting and, in some cases, unexpected healthcare provisions that have not received extensive coverage to date.

Michael S. Adelberg, Nick Manetto, and Tricia A. Beckmann of Faegre Baker Daniels Consulting consider the many healthcare provisions of the new law, including provisions relating to:

  • Original Medicare
  • Medicare Advantage
  • Medicare Part D
  • Medicaid
  • Accountable Care Organizations and new payment models
