Beverly Jo Slaughter is a Managing Counsel at Wells Fargo Bank in St. Louis, MO.  Ms. Slaughter is a member of Wells Fargo’s Wealth Investment Management Litigation Group and is responsible for handling litigations and arbitrations, primarily sales practice, arising out of Wells Fargo Advisors’ business units.  Ms. Slaughter also provides litigation support to Wells Fargo Advisors’ recruiting and collection activities.  Prior to assuming the role of Managing Counsel, Ms. Slaughter was a Senior Attorney responsible for handling sales practice arbitrations.

Before joining Wells Fargo, Ms. Slaughter was in private practice and specialized in commercial litigation, securities class actions and sales practice arbitrations primarily representing broker-dealers.

Ms. Slaughter graduated from Fordham University School of Law in 1997 and was a member of Law Review and Editor-in-Chief of the Moot Court Board.  She graduated from SUNY-Empire State College in 1994.  She was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1998, the Florida State Bar in 2004 and the Missouri State Bar in 2016.

Ms. Slaughter regularly speaks on securities litigation and regulation and employee mobility before the NBA, the SIFMA Legal and Compliance Section and the Federal Bar Council.  She is currently a member of the National Arbitration and Mediation Committee.
