Beth Lobel is a Senior Vice President at NBCUniversal Media, LLC. She counsels correspondents, producers, writers and management at NBC News, MSNBC, Peacock Productions, NBCNews.com and other platforms concerning news and non-fiction programming and Internet content. She advises on all stages of programming and newsgathering, from initial story or show idea, to pitches, production related agreements, casting, access matters, pre-broadcast/publication review, promotion, and  post-broadcast/publication concerns. Prior to joining NBCUniversal, Ms. Lobel was a litigation associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton and Garrison, covering all aspects of complex commercial litigation, including intellectual property and media matters, as well as pre-publication review.  She was also a law clerk for the Honorable Richard Gadbois in the Central District of California.  Ms. Lobel serves on the MLRC Pre-Publication Committee and the NYC Bar Communications Law Committee. She previously served on the NYC Bar Art Law Committee. She graduated from Harvard Law School, cum laude, and from Cornell University, with distinction in all subjects.
