Barbara Jloey is Co-Chair of the Labor and Employment Practice Group and CoChair of the Marketing Committee of Kelley Dryc & Warren, LLP, a law f1rm established in 1836, which today has more than 350 lawyers and other professionals.

For more than 20 years, Barbara has been advising and representing employers in all facets of labor and employment law. She has defended nearly every type of employment claim, including single plaintiff and class action cases, and has won multiple trials of claims arising under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Aet (ADA), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA). She also has tried cases concerning breach of non-compete contracts and theft of trade secrets.

Employers turn to Barbara not only when their interests arc threatened by a lawsuit, but also when thcy need solid, praetical advice on how to avoid litigation by strategically handling today's endless variety of workplace issues, including dil1lcult
terminations, workplace harassment, internal investigations, layoffs, early retirement plans, severance packages, executive compensation. formulation of personnel policies, wage and hour compliance, and union organizing.

Barbara speaks widely on employment topics, and her articles have appeared in a wide range of publications. She is a member of the editorial advisory board of the daily legal ncwswire Employment Law 360.

Barbara received her J.D. cum laude from Fordham University of Law and her B.A. from magna cum laude from the New York State University at Albany.
