Anthony Galioto is Assistant General Counsel and Head of Enforcement & Investigations at BNY Mellon, where he supervises a team of attorneys and paralegals with responsibility for handling the company’s response to all inquiries from U.S. and international law enforcement and regulatory authorities. His group also conducts all significant internal investigations worldwide. Anthony has counselled BNY Mellon in a broad range of matters initiated by the SEC, Department of Justice, FINRA and other domestic and international regulators. Prior to joining BNY Mellon, Anthony was Assistant General Counsel and Head of Litigation at The Dreyfus Corporation, where he handled all litigation and contentious regulatory matters for Dreyfus and its subsidiaries. Prior to Dreyfus, Anthony was a litigation associate at Clifford Chance Rogers & Wells. Anthony received his J.D. from St. John’s School of Law and his B.A. from New York University College of Arts & Sciences.
