Anthony Enriquez is a Chadbourne & Parke Fellow and Staff Attorney at the Door’s Legal Services Center, where he represents youth in immigration and family court proceedings. At the Door, Anthony works primarily with youth currently in removal proceedings, the majority of whom are recent arrivals t-o the United States. In the summer of 2014, Anthony led the Door’s contributions to the Immigrant Children Advocates’ Relief Effort (ICARE), a collaborative project amongst several New York City legal service organizations to provide representation to children facing expedited removal proceedings in New York City Immigration Court. He has testified for New York City Council on conditions of detention of immigrant youth by Customs and Border Patrol and provided testimony for the American Civil Liberties Union’s current federal lawsuit seeking universal representation for youth in immigration proceedings. Anthony graduated from New York University School of Law, where he was a Hays Civil Liberties Fellow and member of the Immigrant Rights Clinic.
