Mr. Mew is a Senior Assistant Chief Accountant in the AD5 Office – Transportation and Leisure Group of the Division of Corporation Finance.  His responsibilities include overseeing the accounting review program and the supervisions of professional staff within the Group.  Prior to his current role, he had been an Accounting Branch Chief for six years. He also worked in various industry groups before within the Division including Healthcare and Insurance, Consumer Products, Telecommunications, Real Estate and Business Services Groups. Besides his industries’ expertise, Mr. Mew also specializes in reviewing filings from PRC registrants.

Before joining the Commission in 2002, Mr. Mew was an audit manager with Ernst & Young LLP in the U.S. with an industry focus on financial services and real estate.

Mr. Mew received his B.S. in Accounting from University of Maryland at College Park, MD, and he is also a Certified Investment and Derivative Auditor (CIDA).
