Andrew Keyso is the Associate Chief Counsel in the Income Tax and Accounting Division of the IRS Office of Chief Counsel.  In this role, Mr. Keyso manages the programs, services and staff of an organization responsible for providing legal guidance and advice to the IRS on general income tax and tax accounting issues arising under the Internal Revenue Code.  The Income Tax and Accounting Division comprises a staff of approximately 120 professional and support employees. 

Mr. Keyso received a graduate degree in Accounting from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and a J.D. degree from Temple University School of Law.  He holds a Certified Public Accountant license (Inactive status) and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar.  Mr. Keyso previously served as Adjunct Professor of Law at Georgetown University Law Center, where he taught the Income Tax Accounting course to students in the graduate tax (LL.M) program.
