Amy Manning is the Chicago Office Managing Partner at the law firm of McGuireWoods LLP. She serves on the firm's Executive Committee and Board of Partners. She concentrates her practice in antitrust and trade regulation, and also on complex commercial litigation, including class actions, commodities litigation, healthcare litigation, civil RICO litigation, and intellectual property disputes. She has handled criminal and civil antitrust matters for international and U.S. companies, as well as individuals, in federal and state courts and arbitration tribunals throughout the United States.  Amy has designed and implemented national and international compliance programs. She has written and spoken on numerous antitrust, government investigations, compliance and privilege issues, and life sciences topics. 

Amy was one of fifteen women attorneys featured in the May 2012 edition of the Chicago Lawyer in an article entitled, "Women In Law 2012 - Women Making an Impact." She was named in the July 2011 Global Competition Review issue in the article entitled, "Chicago's Competition Bar" and featured in their May 2009 Global Competition Review issue on Women In Antitrust, and was one of six attorneys profiled as "The Next Generation of Leaders" in the Chicago Lawyer June 2009 issue. She has been named an Illinois "Super Lawyer" in Business Litigation from 2007 through 2013. She is the 2012-2013 Chair of the American Bar Association, Antitrust Section, Civil Practice and Procedure Committee. Amy is currently the Chairman of the Chicago American Diabetes Association and a Board Member of The Institute of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. She received her JD from the University of Chicago Law School where she won the University of Chicago Hinton Moot Court Competition before Justice Antonin Scalia of the U.S. Supreme Court and her BA, summa cum laude from Monmouth College.
