Amanda Massucci is a Partner in the EY Fraud Investigation & Dispute Services practice. She has experience working with clients on complex compliance and financial matters. She has assisted a diverse base of clients in various industries, including highly regulated industries. She typically works with in-house investigative counsel, the compliance function, internal audit and our client’s outside counsel.   

She has experience conducting large accounting and financial fraud investigations. The issues addressed in these investigations include revenue recognition, earnings management, inappropriate accounting for reserves and disclosure requirements.  As a result of Amanda’s investigative experience, she also assists our clients in litigation matters, the assessment of internal controls and the prevention and detection of fraud.  She performs proactive fraud risk assessments and has experience assisting her clients in the design of anti-fraud programs, including policies and procedures and controls. 

Amanda provides litigation consulting services to counsel to assist in white collar and securities litigation matters for corporate, partnership and individual clients. Her litigation experience also includes post acquisition disputes.

Amanda assists her clients in connection with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and other anti-bribery and corruption matters around the world. She leads global investigations, performs bribery and corruption due diligence on potential acquisition targets and conducts bribery and corruption compliance assessments. She has also assisted our clients in the design, implementation and monitoring of compliance programs.

She serves as a guest lecturer in the Fraud Examination class at the University of Illinois, Champaign/Urbana. She also frequently serves as a panelist on internal investigations and bribery and corruption related topics. Recent conferences include the Law Bulletin White Collar Crime and Corporate Governance Conference, Transaction Advisors Midwest Symposium and Thomson Reuters Midwestern M&A Forum.
