Amanda Samuel is a Counsel for Trademark and Copyright with Colgate-Palmolive Company.

Ms. Samuel is responsible for all worldwide intellectual property matters on behalf of Colgate-Palmolive Company related to the Colgate oral care brand and Hill's Pet Nutrition, Inc.  This includes trademark clearance, prosecutions, infringement actions, counterfeit, prosecution, divestitures and customs issues.  She also handles global licensing agreements with third parties for kids' characters.  She is responsible for management of intercompany intellectual property licenses and has worked on several divestitures of Colgate brands.  She manages social media, internet and domain names matters for the company.  Finally, she handles copyright related issues related to the Colgate brand.

Ms. Samuel is a 1992 graduate of Princeton University, a 1997 graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and is presently a part-time MBA student at the New York University Stern School of Business.  Before joining Colgate, she was an Associate in the Trade Practices and Regulatory Law Group of Weil Gotshal & Manges.  

Ms. Samuel is a member of Women in the Profession Committee of the New York City Bar and an active member of the International Trademark Association Corporate Members Committee.
