Alicia Downey is a Boston-based antitrust lawyer who helps clients develop antitrust-compliant pricing and marketing strategies, minimum advertised price (MAP) policies, joint ventures, and distribution relationships in diverse industries such as consumer goods, agriculture, medical devices, motor vehicles, and high technology.

Alicia frequently speaks in CLE seminars and conferences on antitrust and distribution-related topics. In the ABA Business Law Section, she is past chair of the Antitrust Law Committee and Section Liaison to the Section of Antitrust Law. In the ABA Section of Antitrust Law, she currently co-chairs the Compliance and Ethics Committee. She is a former chair of the Pricing Conduct Committee and the Distribution & Franchising Committee, and served as a member of the Section Council.

She has been featured as a leading antitrust lawyer in the U.S. News Media Group’s Best Lawyers (2009-2017), Top Women Attorneys in Massachusetts (2014-2017); Massachusetts Super Lawyers (2004-2017) and Chambers USA Guide to America’s Leading Lawyers for Business (2005-2013).

Alicia received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Boston College Law School and holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Harvard University. Prior to entering private practice, she was a law clerk to Justice Herbert P. Wilkins of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.
