Alexandra N. DeNeve is Trademark Counsel for Major League Baseball Properties, Inc., as part of the Trademark Legal Group, which is responsible for the clearance, prosecution, litigation and anticounterfeiting efforts for the intellectual property rights of the Major League Baseball clubs and related entities.  As part of her responsibilities, she supports the licensing and marketing efforts of Major League Baseball Properties as well as MLB.COM and the MLB Network.  Prior to working at Major League Baseball, Ms. DeNeve was an attorney at the law firms of Loeb & Loeb in New York City, where she practiced copyright and trademark litigation for clients in the entertainment industry, and Kirkland & Ellis in Chicago, Illinois, as part of its Intellectual Property Department, where she litigated a wide range of intellectual property matters.  She received her J.D. degree from Tulane University School of Law, where she was an editor on the Tulane Law Review, graduated magna cum laude and awarded Order of the Coif.  She is admitted to the bar of the states of New York and Illinois.  Ms. DeNeve is a coordinator of the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition, one of the largest moot court competitions in the country that focuses on cutting edge issues in trademark law and is sponsored by the International Trademark Association.  Ms. DeNeve is also a two-time finisher of the Ironman triathlon in Lake Placid, New York.
